Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) - This program offers free tax help to people who generally make $54,000 or less, people with disabilities and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals. Find a VITA site near you today. Note: Income thresholds vary for in-person tax preparation.
MyFreeTaxes.com - Take advantage of helpful tools such as calculators, error checkers and online chats, plus a free help line if you have any questions. If you prefer to file in person with an IRS-certified tax preparer, just visit MyFreeTaxes.com or call 211 to find a location near you.
IRS Free File - Use Free File Software if your income is $66,000 or less and Free File Fillable Forms if your income is greater than $66,000. IRS Free File is a partnership with the IRS and the Free File Alliance, a group of industry-leading private-sector tax preparation companies that have agreed to provide free commercial online tax preparation and electronic filing. Expecting a Refund?
If you're receiving a tax refund this year, we suggest the following:

- Savings Account - Consider using the extra money to create an emergency Savings Account to help with any unexpected expenses in 2018.
